The Pentacle is a very powerful Pagan/Wiccan symbol and it represents purity. The 5 points on the star represent the directions of North, South, East, West and the Divine Spirit (top). Second, it symbolizes the elements of Earth, Water, Air, the Spirit. If encased within a circle, it means wholeness and unity of all quadrants and the elements and our ultimate love for Nature. In addition, it provides protection against negative energies.
This dainty ring of pentacles is smaller than it appears in the close-up picture on this page and in fact measures just 0.5cm in band width. Despite it´s delicate appearance, however, it is made from rock hard stainless steel and is very hard-wearing.
