The Triple Horn of Odin is a stylized emblem of The Norse God Odin. It consists of three interlocked drinking horns.
The horns feature in the mythological stories of Odin and are recalled in traditional Norse toasting rituals. Most stories involve the God´s quest for the Odhroerir, a magical beverage brewed from the blood of the wise God Kvasir.
The tales vary, but typically Odin uses his wits and magic to procure the brew over three days. The three horns represent the three draughts of the magical mead. The drink is sometimes referred to as the Nectar of the Gods or the Drink of Love.
There are two stainless steel pendants available with this symbol - they both measure approximately 3cm, however, style 2 is black in colour.
Style 1 would be suitable for the stainless steel necklace finish so let me know when checking out your order if you would prefer the stainless steel chain to the leather necklace.
